Journal of Anesthesiology and Clinical Research (JACR) is a peer-reviewed, fully open-access journal that advances clinically relevant and methodologically sound knowledge in anesthesiology and related perioperative disciplines.

Aims

JACR provides an international forum for clinicians, researchers, educators, and health professionals to communicate evidence that improves perioperative care, patient safety, pain management, critical care, and emergency practice.

  • Anesthesiology and perioperative medicine
  • Acute and chronic pain medicine
  • Critical and intensive care medicine
  • Emergency medicine, resuscitation, trauma, and disaster medicine
  • Airway management, regional anesthesia, and perioperative monitoring
  • Clinical pharmacology and physiology relevant to anesthesia and critical care
  • Patient safety, quality improvement, medical education, and health-service research
  • Palliative and supportive care relevant to perioperative and critically ill patients

Article types

The journal considers original research articles, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, narrative reviews, case reports and case series, brief reports, and scholarly correspondence that are within scope. Case reports must include written informed consent for publication, appropriate anonymisation, a consent statement, and reporting consistent with the CARE guideline.
