Open Access Policy

Immediate open access: every article is freely available in full text immediately upon publication. There is no subscription, registration, payment, or embargo for readers.

JACR follows the Budapest Open Access Initiative understanding of open access. Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text and use articles for other lawful purposes within the terms of the stated license.

Unless an individual article states otherwise, articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). The license permits sharing and adaptation for non-commercial purposes, provided appropriate attribution is given, changes are indicated, and adaptations are distributed under the same license.

Access and reuse

No exclusive access, paywall, or delayed-open-access period applies. Third-party material may be subject to separate rights indicated in the article. Users are responsible for obtaining permission for material not covered by the article license.
